Habits, Practices & Liturgies
You Are What You Love
We are shaped, not only by what we think, but also by what we love—by the habits, practices, and liturgies that make up our day to day lives. Some of these activities produce hearts that are balanced and healthy; others produce hearts that are disordered. Drawing on the works of James K. A. Smith and Tish Harrison Warren, our class will examine both private and corporate practices through short readings, film clips,
and lots and lots of discussion.

Bible Study: The First Epistle of John
There are other New Testament letters that are much longer than the Apostle John’s first epistle but few
are as profound. John’s language is often simple yet his thoughts remain weighty and complex. Please join us as we study this important epistle together. We will explore one chapter a night and discuss how the text applies to us today. The class will be an open discussion format so bring your Bibles as we explore, not only the heart of the Apostle, but also the heart of our Lord.
